I’ve been bumping nothing but Pun for the last few weeks now so I thought I’d hit you up with a lil compilation I put together of rare tracks, Freestyles, guest features, etc. Pun gets no where near the amount of praise he deserves in my opinion. He’s one of my top 3 MC’s of all time. His debut album is a stone cold classic and his second album is badly slept on. It’s a shame he passed when he did, leaving us with only two studio albums, but the number of guest appearances he worked on is incredible.

I realize the effort you have put into this project and I really appreciate it. Do you think I'm fat? It's an old one. It makes me feel old. When I was in college they use to play it on the radio all the time. You are late. I got up at six-thirty this morning. Could I have the check? She is really cute. I learned to drive a car. Big Pun - Endangered Species (2001). Calidad: 320 kbps. You Ain't a Killer. Twinz (Deep Cover '98). Whatcha Gon Do? Still Not a Player. Off the Books. Words From Nore. Banned From TV. Brave in the Heart. The Dream Shatterer. Words With Fat Joe.

I’ve included a few in this compilation. I’ve also included one track from the Yeeeah Baby album because as I said before, it’s criminally slept on. And I’ve included a couple of tracks from the Endangered Species compilation that was released cos a lot of people slept on that too. I haven’t included anything from Capital Punshment cos I think that sands alone as a classic joint.

I’ve included a B-Side and a remix from Capital Punishment joints though. Check out the track list below, this is one hour of fuckin banging music with insane lyrics, flow, wordplay!!

Bump this mutha fucker!! Big Pun – Rhyming Abomination (Pattch82 Compilation) • Watch Out – Fat Joe feat.

Fat Joe • What’cha Gon’ Do (Terror Squad) • Wrong Ones feat. Sunkiss (Produced by Just Blaze) • My World • Speed Of Life (Freestyle) feat. Fat Joe & Terror Squad • Who Is A Thug • Oh No (Interlude Verse) feat. Capone • Toe 2 Toe feat. Serial Twonav Android.

Cuban Link • Big Pun & Fat Joe Freestyle 1998 • The Foundation feat. Tony Touch, Reif-Hustle & Sunkiss • Freestyle With Remy Martin • Thug Brothers feat. Noreaga • Bring ‘Em Back – Terror Squad feat. Big Pun & Big L (Produced by Lord Finesse & Bo McKenzie) Check out the link. Watch Out – Fat Joe feat.

Big Pun, Armageddon & Keith Nut (Diamond D) One of Pun’s earliest appearances and he slays this track. Firewater Another early appearance from Pun and he spits a verse worthy of the highlight reel. Totally murks this track, non of the other MC’s on here matched up to him.

Raekwon’s verse is on point. But Pun's verse is easily the most impressive. Wishful Thinking The B-side to the “I'm Not A Player” single. I always wondered why this song failed to make the final cut of Capital Punishment based on the star power involved alone. Tres Leches (Large Professor Remix) feat. Prodigy & Inspectah Deck Dope as fuck remix to one of the best joints off Capital Punishment.

Triplets feat. Fat Joe & Prospect Taken from Fat Joe’s Don Cartagena album. Another stand out verse from the Punisher. Shut ‘Em Down (Interlude Verse) Let ‘Em Know (Ice Cream) Pun & Joe fuckin’ slaying the Ice Cream beat in a dope freestyle. What’cha Gon’ Do Taken from the first Terror Squad album. This crew used to be dope as fuck back in ’99. This was the Pun solo track from that album.

Wrong Ones feat. Sunkiss (Produced by Just Blaze) This is from Pun’s Yeeeah Baby album which is criminally under-rated in my opinion. Just listen to Pun’s verse on this track, fuckin’ flames! My World This track is taken from the Endangered Species compilation, it was previously unreleased. Dope as fuck track, don’t know why this didn’t make it on to one of his studio albums. Beat reminds me of Dream Shatterer for some reason, real ominous shit.

Pun spits in a much slower fashion than you may expect, but he still sounds pretty fucking good. In fact, everything about this track works. Speed Of Life (Freestyle) feat. Fat Joe & Terror Squad Another dope as fuck posse track. Again Pun steals the show.

Freestyle over Xzibit's At The speed Of Life instrumental. From Funkmaster Flex Mixtape III. Who Is A Thug feat. 6430 This track is from the Whiteboys Soundtrack from 1999. Oh No (Interlude Verse) feat. Capone Toe 2 Toe feat. Cuban Link Pun and Cuban Link going back and forth over an ill Scarface sample.

Big Pun & Fat Joe – Freestyle 1998 Another freestyle showing Pun & Joe’s awesome chemistry that they had together. The Foundation feat. Tony Touch, Reif-Hustle & Sunkiss Taken from Tony Touch’s Piece Maker compilation. Freestyle With Remy Martin This is a dope lil’ freestyle from the Endangered Species compilation. Thug Brothers feat. Noreaga This track is from the Funkmaster Flex Mixtape III.

Bring ‘Em Back – Terror Squad feat. Dune 1984 The Alternative Edition V2 Subtitles Netflix there. Big Pun & Big L (Produced by Lord Finesse & Bo MacKenzie) This is from the second Terror Squad album in 2004. The crew had kinda gone abit more commercial by this point, but this joint still goes hard.

Great work Pattch and many thanks!! I've been thinking about doing a Pun comp for quite some time but never came around to it but you killed it so now i don't have to worry agout that. Will definitely up this to my iPod. PUN for president! (if he wasn't dead, that is).

One has to draw the line somewhere but one track i would've loved here are this amazing posse cut. One of the best of all time, KRS-One, Big Pun and AG all bring their A-game over a MONSTROUS Show beat. He did two different versions of 'Drop it Heavy'. DOPE mix though. You're tha man + repped. With Pattch's permission I have now uploaded the Big Pun compilation 'Rhyming Abomination' to The Lost Tapes.

It's 80% the same as Pattch's brilliant version, i just switched the few album tracks and a couple of the freestyles against some other songs i felt was essential (like 'Off The Books'). The bitrate is at least 192 kbps for all but one or two songs (the 'Ice Cream Freestyle' and 'Toe 2 Tore') but they still sounding good. I hope you enjoy this and once again mega props to Pattch82!!! I also wrote an article on Pun which you might be interested in checking out as well as liinking back to this thread. Enjoy and TURN IT UP! 'Watch Out' (w.

Fat Joe, Armageddon & Keith Nut) 02. 'Fire Water' (w. Fat Joe, Raekwon & Armageddon) 03. 'Off The Books' (w. The Beatnuts & Cuban Link) 04. 'Wishful Thinking' (w.

Dope underground hip-hop only - i think it makes a great companion piece to the Pun compilation 01. 'Intro: Da Gangsta's Takin' Ova' 02.

'Big Apple Gone Rotten' (w. Armageddon) 03. 'Beg No Friends' [Valley Mob] (w. Stricly Roots, Grand Puba & Chill Will) 04. 'The Rhythm' (w.
